From the 35th Polemarch

It is my great pleasure to warmly welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest in the Columbia (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. 

​

Our Chapter was chartered on November 9, 1974, in Columbia, Maryland.  Since the beginning, our Chapter’s primary focus has been on community outreach and enhancing the lives of those in need.

 

As the 35th Polemarch, my strategic approach is to advance initiatives that promote social responsibility, strengthen our relationships, and promote achievement within each person we come across.   

 

Our leadership team is excited and committed to our core values which consists of:

 

Brotherhood – Supporting each other by treating others with dignity, respect and compassion.

 

Involvement – Obligating time to fulfil civic duties. 

 

Responsibility – Seeking opportunities to contribute.

Our role in today’s culture is pivotal given we live in an everchanging society.  We will be at the forefront of change and adapt to meet the needs of those we serve.  Along this journey, your continued support will further our efforts in making Columbia (MD) Alumni chapter a valued resource within Howard County, Maryland.
